Five Months Out and Could Not Be Happier!

I started the All-on-4 process a little over five months ago and things are going great! I am really glad that I took my periodontist’s advice and closely followed the aftercare instructions he provided. It was not a lot of fun sticking to a soft food diet at first, but now that enough time has gone by, I can enjoy all the foods I used to!

If I could give any advice for someone thinking about having this procedure, it would be to make sure you are clear about how you want your smile to look. There are a lot of different options available, and at first, I was a little overwhelmed by the number of choices, but after spending some time looking at options, I ended up with a smile I have always dreamed of!

Eight Months Out and Loving My Smile!

I am eight months out from completing my All-on-4 dental implant process, and all I can say is that I wish I had done this sooner! I have so much more confidence and it is so nice to not feel self-conscious about the appearance of my smile anymore.

I will admit that the cost of having the procedure performed made me very nervous initially, but one unexpected benefit has been that because I invested so much into getting this smile, I feel much more motivated to take good care of them. I spend 15 minutes each morning and evening using a waterpik and follow this by brushing with a Sonicare. I have also improved my eating habits and now eat far less sugary foods. So, all in all, getting All-on-4 not only restored my smile, it also helped me make important life changes to take better care of my health.

Ten Months Out and So Glad I Finally Had This Procedure!

10 months ago, I got my final dentures placed and I cannot believe what a difference having a full set of teeth has made. Prior to this procedure I had lost all my molars and my crowns were in terrible shape. All-on-4 has ended up being the perfect solution to improving my oral health.

If I’m being honest, I will admit that there were times throughout the process when I wondered if it was worth the effort and time. I was also a little frustrated following the procedure that I still had to stick with softer foods, as eating anything harder caused some discomfort. Fortunately, this discomfort faded within a few weeks, and even though I am still careful to avoid foods like popcorn or beef jerky, I can pretty much eat whatever I want.

So even though the process was extensive and there were some inconveniences along the way, the end result of having a full smile has made me a lot less self-conscious about my smile and definitely improved my overall quality of life.
